Elena Theodoropoulou
Adjunct Lecturer, Scientific Associate
Helena is a PhD candidate of the School of Science and Technology, Hellenic Open University researching on “Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for Architectural Design and Creative Tasks”. She holds a 5yrs degree in Architectural Engineering from the Department of Architectural
Engineering of the Democritus University of Thrace and a Master of Science, “MSc in Information Systems” from the School of Science and Technology, Hellenic Open University.
Since October 2020, she has been working as an instructor for the course “Advanced Digital Media”, teaching design and development of interactive 3D, Virtual and Augmented reality applications. She is a Scientific Associate of DMLab participating in research projects and
member of the laboratory staff.
Since 2019, she has been working as a Scientific Associate of the Athena Research Center (currently: Institute of Language and Speech Processing (ILSP)) participating in research projectson the use of innovative technological tools for the preservation and dissemination of Cultural Heritage and on the enhancement of education.
