CULTURAL HERITAGE

This project intends to highlight hidden aspects of the Ancient Theater of Gortys, carved into the southeast slope of the hill of the Acropolis. By implementing AR technologies, the app uses superimposition techniques to depict the whole theater structure and materiality on the ruins that are currently partially excavated. AR functions in a twofold way: on the one hand, informing visitors on the process of excavations, and on the other hand, adding the ruined geometry of the monument, aiming at creating a holistic picture of the Ancient Theater.
