MARIA PATHIAKI

Maria Pathiaki is an Electronic Engineer Master’s degree. She is system and network administrator of the Operational Computing Infrastructure at Technical University of Crete and system, website and network assistant of the Digital Media Lab, School of Architecture at Technical University of Crete.

With significant professional experience as a system administrator, in Windows and Unix operating systems, network management, web site administration. The main object of her work is the installation, management and upgrade of workstations in Windows XP / 7/10 operating system and other peripheral equipment, in a corporate network environment. Customize and manage the corporate network of users, developed in Microsoft Active Directory. Defining group policies, access rights, storage limits, etc. Installation and technical support of specialized software. Detection and repair of workstation hardware failures and their peripherals. Installation, configuration and management of physical servers, in a Data Center environment. Detect and repair hardware and software failures of servers and computer systems. Installation and management of virtual machines in Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 environment, Hyper-v technology. Ensure data security and protect workstations and servers from malicious attacks and viruses. Website content management, based on the TYPO3 content management system.
