Nowadays the church of the Venetian Monastery of St. Francis, in Crete is housing the Archaeological Museum, but in the near future the museum will be moved in a new, contemporary building. The digital model of the monument was created using Structure from Motion techniques and the final model uploaded in Sketchfab Platform. Using Oculus Rift and Vive HTC, future virtual tours and experiences can be performed, in an effort to capture the atmosphere and the feeling of the space in its unique current status, which will be lost for ever once the collections are transferred to the new space.

7.304 pictures were taken with a Canon EOS 700D following the 3×3 CIPA rules, which were combined with pictures from a UAV DJI M100 from SenseLab and some samples from an iPad wearing an Apple Structure Sensor.
